February 2020: Student Orientation Guide

January 29, 2020

January 30, 2020 kicks off the start of orientation and beginning of second semester (classes begin on February 3) for our incoming students.  Orientation is a time to get settled on campus, explore the community and become acquainted with life as a Bronte student!

On January 30 at 9:00am students will gather in our cafeteria where orientation will begin. We ask that students bring their passport, study permit, official transcripts and two passport sized photos with them. A neighbourhood map, academic calendar and information sheet will be handed out and a representative from TD Canada Trust Bank will be in the foyer to help students set up a bank account. We will also have a representative with sim cards in the foyer to help students set up their phones. Proficiency tests will be held throughout orientation for any students who have tests to complete. All of these resources and more will be available for students until January 31, 2020. To assist with uniform alterations, a tailor will be available on campus on February 4th after school.

We welcome new students to Bronte College and wish farewell to students graduating.
