September Newsletter – Residence News (Welcome Week)

September 27, 2016

The Bronte College Residence Team had an incredible Welcome Week with all the new and returning students at Bronte College! We started off the week with lots of social games to help students get to know each other and become more familiar with the school. We hosted a variety of events, including neighbourhood tours, sports events, arts and craft activities, a scavenger hunt, and a cooking class.

This was capped with a Masquerade Dance where students made their own masks, took fun pictures at our photobooth, and danced the evening away with their friends! Our final event was the Bronte Carnival. Our students got to enjoy games, a dunk tank, snacks, and prizes.

Our Residence Team, along with our Student Dons, have already started planning many more events and trips for the upcoming months. We encourage all our students to attend our events to help them balance their social and academic experiences. The Residence Team is always here to support our students in any way to help them succeed. Thank you for attending our Welcome Week events and we hope to see you more throughout the school year! Future events will be posted on the website calendar and on posters around the school. Don’t miss it!
