The Dormitory

Your Home Away From Home.

Bronte College offers safe and comfortable dormitory rooms to over 350 students. The majority of the rooms are for single occupancy, but we also have double and quad rooms available. Open during all holidays and school breaks, the dormitory houses students from all over the world, creating a vibrant living environment.

Campus Life Staff

Residence-single-roomOur Campus Life Staff is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment that will further students’ development and enhance their academic potential. Campus Life Staff support student safety and well-being, and facilitate a dynamic campus life after school and on weekends. They help lead a variety of after school sports and activities, and organize weekend trips including the CN Tower, Niagara Falls, Canada’s Wonderland, New York, Quebec City, and skiing at Mont Tremblant. Bronte College strives to make  campus life a rewarding experience for all students, resulting in lifelong friends and lasting memories.

Campus Life Program

The Campus Life Program is mandatory for students under the age of 17 years old, and includes most of the weekend trips described above. During weekday evenings, students attend Study Hall. Students may be mandated into supervised study sessions by parents or staff with the best interests in mind.

Student Dons

Our Student Dons are another important source of support after school hours. Assigned to each floor of the dormitory, Student Dons are responsible for monitoring dormitory safety, providing guidance to students in need and creating a fun and unified school environment. Students are integral to the success of Bronte’s Campus Life program and are encouraged to get involved in making their campus life experience a valuable one.

We place students with a host family based on hobbies and preferences to ensure a comfortable and fulfilling experience. All Homestay host families are required to go through a comprehensive screening process, including reference checks, personal interviews, home visits and a Police Records Check.
