A Stunning First Year: Our Wrestling Team Excels in ROPSSAA & OFSAA!

This was the first year for our wrestling team, and we already had the opportunity to participate in OFSAA. Competing at this prestigious level requires placing in the top three in ROPSSAA —a feat our athletes achieved with dedication and determination. We are extremely proud of our wrestling team and all their efforts.  

ROPSSAA stands for Region of Peel Secondary School Athletic Association. It’s a league that governs high school sports in the Peel region of Ontario. It oversees high school sports for the Peel District School Board, Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board, and some independent schools. It includes 69 member schools in the Region of Peel in 36 different sports.  

OFSAA stands for the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations, a not-for-profit organization that promotes and supports school sport in Ontario, Canada, hosting provincial championships and festivals in various sports for student-athletes. OFSAA is a federation of 18 regional school athletic associations across Ontario and hosts 45 provincial championships and festivals in 21 different sports.
