“The Best Way to Predict the Future Is To Create It”

Below are a few tips to make it easier to settle in, start your year confidently and gear yourself up for an exciting year ahead.

Take it slow

Being in a new environment can be difficult, and to many changes are not always easy. It’s natural to feel that the easiest way to combat the anxiety and stress of a new school or a new place is to overdo things and in turn overwork yourself. However, the one thing to remember is to take it “slow”. Take your time and absorb the school code, rules, and requirements. It may seem hard to do at first, but once you are able to, you will feel much more relaxed and enjoy the start of your school year.

Remain Positive

Moving to a new school can mean leaving old friends behind, moving out of your comfort zone and being the new kid all over again. Always, remember that a new school also means a new beginning, new friends, new experiences, and a whole lot of new adventures. Don’t get disheartened and remain positive.

 Prioritize and Strategize

Strategy is your key to success, but priority is what makes a strategy work! Make it a goal to set up a priority plan from the first day of school. Whether its homework, organizing your room, being punctual or participating in extracurricular activities, prioritizing will help!

Extracurricular Activities

While you must be academically inclined, you should also consider taking part in extracurricular activities. Our school has many options for you to choose from. Taking part in these activities will not only help you grow academically but will also help you strengthen your time management and leadership skills. It’s also a great way to make new friends and have fun!

Always remember that every day is a new chance to do better than yesterday. Try your best and if you fall on the way, then take that as an opportunity to get up and start all over again!
