Excellence in STEM: Bronte Students Earn Distinction in the Sir Isaac Newton Physics Contest

Bronte College is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students in this year’s Sir Isaac Newton Physics Contest, one of Canada’s most respected physics competitions.

Competing against 1,515 students from across Canada, our participants demonstrated exceptional problem-solving abilities, scientific reasoning, and a strong foundation in physics. We are especially proud that every Bronte student who participated earned a Certificate of Distinction, an accomplishment that reflects both their hard work and commitment to academic excellence.

Among the top performers, Siyuan ranked 240th nationally and achieved an impressive 82nd percentile result. Other students also delivered strong performances, including Sofiia (419th), Benji (464th), and Jiarun (549th).

Success in competitions such as the Sir Isaac Newton Physics Contest highlights Bronte College’s commitment to fostering academic curiosity, critical thinking, and advanced STEM learning. Through challenging coursework, dedicated instruction, and opportunities for enrichment beyond the classroom, students are encouraged to develop the skills needed to excel in university-level studies and future careers.

Congratulations to all participants on this outstanding achievement. Your dedication and perseverance continue to make the Bronte community proud.
