Peer Tutoring Program at Bronte College – Learning Together, Growing Together

“Because everyone learns better together.”

At Bronte College, learning doesn’t stop when the bell rings. Our Peer Tutoring Program provides students with a supportive space to strengthen their academic skills and build confidence through collaboration. Taking place in the school library, the program runs at lunchtime, after school, and during evening study hall, making it flexible and accessible to all students.

The Peer Tutoring Program connects students who need academic support with peers who excel in specific subjects. Tutoring is available in a wide range of areas, including English and ESL, Math, Science, Social Sciences, Art, and AP Physics. By learning alongside classmates, students benefit from relatable explanations, individualized attention, and a comfortable, encouraging environment.

Beyond improving academic performance, peer tutoring fosters leadership, communication, and empathy. Tutors develop valuable teaching and mentoring skills while helping their peers overcome learning challenges — turning the experience into a two-way opportunity for growth.

At Bronte, we believe that learning together means growing together — and our Peer Tutoring Program continues to show that the best learning often happens when students support one another.
