What are your interests?

Answer:

I’m interested in watching English movies to help me practice my English. I also draw and play the violin. My passion is sports – I play tennis, basketball and badminton.

Question:

What do you see yourself studying in after Bronte?

Answer:

A: Engineering and Architecture because I love math and calculations. I would like to go to university here in Canada. My goal is that I want a nice English accent for communication. I’m working hard on that.

Have you noticed an improvement in your English since studying here?

Answer:

My English has improved a lot since being here. Surrounding myself with good students who speak English well has helped me improve. Also in my classes – I really understand what the teachers say, which means I improved really well.

Question:

Do you have a class or subject that you’ve enjoyed the most from this year?

Answer:

Chemistry with Mr. Bronze. He teaches really well. It’s easy to understand when he teaches. We did a presentation about glow sticks and what is inside them – the solutions – it was really interesting. I also love Math. I love calculations especially when you get the answer.

If you had to describe yourself with a few words, what would they be?

Answer:

I’m a funny person, optimistic, but sometimes think about negatives – and I’m hard to get angry.

Question:

If you had the power to change one thing about the world, what would it be?

Answer:

I would create a car that doesn’t produce carbon dioxide gas – a hybrid car that produces oxygen instead. It’s a little bit science fiction – but maybe possible (laughs). I care about the environment – it makes the world sad with the weather.

What have you noticed or discovered about yourself after living and studying at Bronte for one year?

Answer:

I have to depend on myself – to study, divide the time for myself, and for education. And I think I’m more organized – laundry, cleaning room, doing homework…
